The Curious Savage Audition Form
IMPORTANT: We will not consider anyone who cannot attend all dress rehearsals during the week of our performances (June 21st - June 28th, 2005).
AUDITIONS: Saturday, April 19th in the afternoon at the Elwood Opera House located at 202 South Anderson Street in Elwood, Indiana. You will receive an arrival time slot no later than Noon on April 18th. We will not have rehearsals on Mother's Day, Father's Day, or Memorial Day weekend. We may have a couple of Friday rehearsals to replace those days if needed.Monologues and Cold Reads will be required. You must prepare a 1 - minute dramatic or comedic monologue that is memorized. We will also have cold reads and will have those available the day of auditions.
PRACTICES: Schedule will be made available at auditions. Practices will primarily be held on Wednesday Evenings from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and Sunday Afternoons from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Elwood Opera House. Practices will start on Wednesday, April 23rd with a read-through, introductions and story breakdown.
FINALLY, if you state on your AUDITION APPLICATION that you would be willing to accept any role, please keep your word. If you have a preferred role, please list it. However, withdrawing from a production after the cast list has been announced will make it difficult for you to be cast in future productions. Thanks for understanding!
